I am excited to share that on July 15th I officially pulled papers to run for Woodland School Board, Area 6. I am officially a candidate for Woodland School Board!​
I am delighted to share that we enjoyed a great kick off fundraiser at The Burger Saloon on Monday July 15th.

A big thank you to event hosts Cirenio Rodriguez, Noel Rodriguez, Rogelio and Leticia Villagrana and Xóchitl and Antonio Murillo.
It was an honor to share such a wonderful evening with our community, family and friends. Thank you, thank you.​​​

Hi all,
I continue to knock on doors and I am meeting many of my lovely neighbors in Area 6. One of those neighbors was Plainfield Elementary's PTA President Andrea. Andrea requested fliers and business cards to share with friends in her neighborhood and with parents at Plainfield.
As of today, I have knocked on 337 doors. I took Father's Day off to spend the day with my family and knocked on doors after my work day yesterday. I plan to continue knocking on doors during the week after work.
Reminder: Please purchase tickets for my kick off fundraiser coming up on Monday July 15th, 2024 5:30 - 7pm at Burger Saloon. I would be honored to have you join me. Please bring your family and friends and help me spread the word.

Our public schools are for all students.
​
I want to serve on the board because I know I can make informed decisions that put the wellbeing of all students first.
As a former elementary school teacher, I know the challenges, frustrations and joys of teaching. I know that teachers work incredibly hard to meet the needs of all their students and to challenge those that are ready for more. They put students first as they prepare lessons over the weekend, grade after dinner and advocate for their students. I know how hard administrators and classified staff work to make schools run and to make sure that teachers, staff and students have what they need to teach and learn. I know that families want the best for their children.

Help me facilitate thriving school communities where we collaborate to put all students first. We can do this, together.

Hi all,
I hope you enjoyed the 4th of July holiday and are staying cool in this heat.
As of today, I have knocked on 371 doors. It has been great meeting my neighbors in Area 6 and I have been happy to hear that folks are becoming familiar with my campaign. Some folks have shared that they have heard about my campaign from their neighbors and friends sharing my flier. I will continue knocking on doors in the mornings and in the evenings as temperatures allow. It is hot out there!

Hi all,
I am very excited to share that I have met many of my lovely neighbors in Area 6. I started knocking on doors last weekend and after today, I have knocked on 209 doors. Yeah!!! A big shout out to Kevin, my husband, for walking with me today and last weekend. I remain committed to be on the ground reaching as voters.
